Sports and Music
In the third year the focus is on the children's free-time and hobbies, both activities organized and supervised by adults (autumn 2008) and in the spring semester games and activities that the children organize themselves.
We decided to make a survey in all the schools on two seperate subjects. First we would like to see which sports were most popular in each school, i.e. organized sports activities in sport clubs etc. Secondly we asked about musical instruments og music activities.
Students aged 8 to 11 answered the questions. It is neccessary to remember when the charts are read that the shcools vary in size and also that the population of the students' hometowns and cities range from 1.100 (Stykkisholmur) to 575.000 (Helsinki)
